Joblogic review (UK, 2026)
Quick answer
Joblogic costs from £45 per user per month on its Standard plan, billed annually, so 5 users cost £225 a month. Most customers sign 24 or 36 month contracts. It is our pick for UK planned maintenance and compliance contractors, but its iPhone app scores just 1.8 from 201 ratings.

Who should buy Joblogic, and who should not?
Our verdict
Joblogic is our best pick for UK planned maintenance and compliance contractors. Buy it if you service equipment for commercial clients on a schedule (HVAC, gas, F-Gas, fire and security, water hygiene, lifts) and need asset registers, PPM and certificates in one place. Skip it if you are a domestic trade team of 1 to 10 doing one-off jobs: the 24 to 36 month contracts and the poorly rated iPhone app make month-to-month apps like Tradify, our best overall pick for small UK trade teams, a safer choice.

What does Joblogic do well?
Planned maintenance and assets
Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) means servicing equipment on a fixed schedule, such as quarterly air conditioning checks. Joblogic builds jobs from asset registers and maintenance schedules, so recurring work appears automatically and every visit is logged against the asset. That is what facilities and service contractors need to prove compliance to clients.
Compliance certificates for many trades
Joblogic covers more than 30 trades, including HVAC, gas, electrical, fire and security, refrigeration, water hygiene, lifts and pest control. For gas alone, it lists CP12, CP17 non-domestic, CP6 service checklists, LPG, CP14 warning notices, RIDDOR warnings, CP42 catering, commissioning, test and purge, unvented hot water and mains pressure cylinders, plus custom templates. F-Gas compliance is also a stated strength.
The widest UK accounting line-up we found
Joblogic links with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow, FreeAgent and AccountsIQ. Capterra UK adds Sage 500 and QuickBooks Online Advanced. If your finance team runs Sage or a larger package, Joblogic is one of the few trade systems that will fit.
Portals for customers and subcontractors
Joblogic includes a customer portal and a subcontractor portal. Joblogic does not detail on the pages we checked exactly what each portal shows, so ask for a walkthrough in the demo.
A published starting price
Unlike Commusoft, simPRO and BigChange, Joblogic publishes a starting price: £45 per user per month. That lets you budget before you book a demo.
Strong Trustpilot record
Trustpilot UK showed 4.5 from 370 reviews when we checked, a solid result for a larger system.
Where does Joblogic fall short?
- Long contracts. Joblogic says most customers sign for 24 or 36 months. A 12-month term is available, but it is still a year.
- A very low iPhone app score. The UK App Store showed 1.8 out of 5 from 201 ratings. That is far below Tradify (4.8), Commusoft (4.2) and simPRO's mobile app (4.5). Your engineers will use the app every day, so this matters.
- Annual billing. The £45 starting price is billed annually.
- Higher plans are not priced. Premium and Enterprise are on request, so the true cost for most growing firms is not public.
- VAT not stated. The pricing page does not say whether £45 includes VAT.
- Possible onboarding fees. There is no fixed fee, but projects with many integrations can be charged.
- Overkill for domestic work. If you mostly do one-off jobs for homeowners, PPM and asset registers add complexity you will not use.
How much does Joblogic cost?
Joblogic's pricing page shows three plans:
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | From £45 per user per month, billed annually | Free trial available, no card |
| Premium | Price on request | Demo-led |
| Enterprise | Custom | Multi-site and large firms |
Worked examples on the Standard plan
| Team | Monthly equivalent | Per year | Over a 36-month contract |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 users | £135 | £1,620 | £4,860 |
| 5 users | £225 | £2,700 | £8,100 |
| 10 users | £450 | £5,400 | £16,200 |
These assume the Standard price stays flat. For comparison, Tradify Pro costs £37 per user per month with no contract, and Commusoft is listed on Capterra UK from about £59 per user on a 12-month contract. Joblogic sits between the two on price, but asks for the longest commitment.
Why the contract length matters more than the monthly price
A small difference in the per-user price is easy to compare. A long contract is harder to price, because it is the cost of getting it wrong. If you sign 10 users for 36 months on Standard and the system does not suit your engineers, you are still committed to £16,200 before VAT is considered. On a month-to-month app, the same mistake costs you one month. That does not make Joblogic a bad deal. It means you should be sure of the fit before you sign, and use the free trial properly: run real jobs, real certificates and a real invoice through it, not just a demo.
Tip: before signing a 24 or 36 month deal, ask Joblogic to put the renewal price, onboarding cost and exit terms in writing, and ask whether a 12-month term is available on the plan you need.
Joblogic features in detail
Planned maintenance (PPM)
Set up maintenance schedules against client sites and assets, and Joblogic creates the visits. This suits contractors with service level agreements to meet.
Asset registers
Every boiler, air conditioning unit, fire panel or lift can be logged as an asset with its history. Engineers see past visits and certificates on site.
Compliance certificates
Engineers complete gas, F-Gas and other compliance certificates on the mobile app, which works offline. Custom templates cover anything not built in. The certificate is stored against the job and the asset.
Scheduling, including AI
The office schedules jobs on a planner, with an AI Dynamic Scheduler to help fill the diary. An AI Summariser condenses job notes.
Subcontractor portal
Send jobs to subcontractors through their own portal and get their paperwork back in the same system. Useful for firms that use specialists for some work.
Customer portal
Joblogic lists a customer portal for clients. A portal can cut down on "can you send me the report?" emails, but check which documents it shares.
Quotes, invoices, costing and stock
Joblogic also covers quotes, invoicing, job costing, purchase orders, stock control, vehicle tracking and a lone worker module for engineers working alone.
What do users say about Joblogic?
These are third-party scores, not our own rating. We do not average them.
| Platform | Score | Reviews | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Capterra UK | 4.3 out of 5 | 102 | 12 Oct 2026 |
| Trustpilot UK | 4.5 out of 5 | 370 | 12 Oct 2026 |
| G2 | 4.3 out of 5 | 2 | 12 Oct 2026 |
| App Store (UK) | 1.8 out of 5 | 201 ratings | 12 Oct 2026 |
| Google Play | Not confirmed | n/a | We could not confirm a score |
There is a clear split. Reviewers on Trustpilot and Capterra are broadly happy, while App Store ratings for the iPhone app are far lower. Only 2 reviews on G2 is too few to read anything into. If you shortlist Joblogic, put the mobile app in front of your engineers during the trial and listen to what they say.

Who is Joblogic best for?
| You are... | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| HVAC, refrigeration or F-Gas contractor with commercial clients | Strong | PPM, assets and F-Gas compliance are core |
| Fire and security, lifts or water hygiene firm | Strong | Listed target trades with planned maintenance needs |
| Facilities management contractor, multi-site | Strong | Subcontractor and customer portals, Enterprise plan |
| Commercial gas firm, 5+ engineers | Good | Wide gas certificate range; compare with Commusoft for domestic service plans |
| Domestic plumber, electrician or builder, 1 to 10 people | Weak | Long contracts and features you will not use. Tradify or Powered Now suit better |
Joblogic says it covers everyone from single-trade firms to multi-site enterprise contractors. In practice, the sweet spot is a firm with an office team and recurring commercial work. If your diary is mostly one-off domestic jobs booked by phone, a simpler app will be quicker to set up, cheaper to run and easier to leave.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Joblogic cost per month?
Joblogic's Standard plan starts at £45 per user per month, billed annually. Joblogic's own example is 5 users for £225 a month. Premium is priced on request and Enterprise is custom. The pricing page does not say whether prices include or exclude VAT, so check your quote.
Is Joblogic worth it?
For a UK contractor doing planned maintenance, multi-site work and compliance (gas, F-Gas, fire, water hygiene), yes. It is built for that work and integrates with most UK accounts packages. For a small domestic trade team, it is too much commitment: most customers sign for 24 or 36 months, and the iPhone app rates poorly.
How long is a Joblogic contract?
Joblogic says most customers sign for 24 or 36 months, and 12-month terms are available. Pricing is billed annually. That is a much bigger commitment than month-to-month apps such as Tradify or Powered Now.
Does Joblogic have a free trial?
Yes, on the Standard plan only, with no card needed. Joblogic's pricing page does not give the length. Capterra UK says it is a 30-day trial. Premium and Enterprise go through a sales demo.
Does Joblogic do gas certificates?
Yes. Joblogic lists CP12, CP17 non-domestic, CP6 service checklists, LPG, CP14 warning notices, RIDDOR warnings, CP42 catering, commissioning, test and purge, unvented hot water and custom templates. It also covers F-Gas and other compliance work.
What accounts software does Joblogic work with?
Joblogic lists Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow, FreeAgent and AccountsIQ on its accounts integration page. Capterra UK also lists Sage 500 and QuickBooks Online Advanced. That is one of the widest UK accounting line-ups we found.
Why is the Joblogic app rated so low?
The UK App Store showed 1.8 out of 5 from 201 ratings on 12 October 2026. We have not used the app ourselves, so we cannot say exactly why. But a score that low means you should get your engineers to test the mobile app on their own phones during the trial.
