Jobber review (UK, 2026)
Quick answer
Jobber works in the UK, but it is built for North America. Its UK pricing page showed US dollars when we checked (Core from $29 to $49 a month), we found no UK gas or electrical certificates, and Xero sync is one way. It is still a strong choice for UK cleaning, landscaping and domestic service firms.

- FAQs
Jobber is one of the best-known field service apps in the world, with over 400,000 service pros claimed. But is it right for a British trade business? We compared its UK pricing, features and user reviews on 12 October 2026 to find out where it shines and where UK users hit snags.
Is Jobber good for UK businesses? Our verdict in brief
Jobber is an excellent product with a US-centric setup. Its scheduling, client hub, online booking and automations are among the most polished we have seen. But for UK trades, four things hold it back: the UK pricing page showed US dollar prices when we checked, we found no UK gas or electrical certificates, the Xero sync only goes one way, and we found no UK office or UK phone number.
Who should care? If you are an electrician or gas engineer, those gaps are serious, and our top picks for UK trades will suit you better. If you run a cleaning, gardening, landscaping, lawn care or domestic services business, certificates do not matter, and Jobber's customer-facing tools become a real advantage.
Our verdict
Buy Jobber if you run a UK cleaning, landscaping, lawn care, window cleaning, pressure washing or handyman business, you want customers to book and pay online, and you are happy with QuickBooks or one-way Xero sync. Skip it if you issue EICRs or gas safety records, you want prices and support in pounds and UK hours, or your bookkeeper needs a two-way Xero link or Sage. Tradify is the better fit for certificate trades.

What does Jobber do well?
The client hub
Jobber's client hub is an online portal for your customers. Jobber says customers can request work, approve or ask for changes to quotes, see their past and upcoming appointments (including photos of the team member coming) and pay invoices or deposits online, with the option to leave a tip. For domestic customers who expect to do everything on their phone, this feels modern and saves you a lot of back-and-forth messages.
Online booking and automations
Every plan includes online booking and scheduling. From Connect you get automated reminders, automatic payment collection and quote and invoice follow-ups. Grow adds two-way text messaging and workflow automations. For recurring domestic work (weekly cleans, fortnightly lawn cuts), this takes a lot of admin off your plate.
Polished, highly rated apps
Jobber scores 4.8 on the GB App Store from 448 ratings and 4.6 on Google Play from about 6,710 ratings (checked 12 Oct 2026). On Capterra UK it has 1,487 reviews averaging 4.6, the largest review sample of the core apps we compared.
Big company, steady development
Jobber claims "400,000 service pros", more than 100,000 businesses and over 92 million jobs, in 60+ countries. New features keep arriving, including "Jobber AI" for pricing, upselling and scheduling help, and an AI Receptionist on the Plus plan.
Website builder and marketing tools
Core includes a website builder. The top Plus plan adds a Marketing Suite and a sales Pipeline. Few UK-focused rivals bundle this much customer-winning kit.
Where does Jobber fall short for UK users?
US dollar prices on the UK pricing page
Both of Jobber's UK pricing pages (/en-gb/ and /uk/) showed "All prices in USD" when we checked on 12 October 2026. Our check was made through a tool that appears to be based in the US, so it is possible UK visitors see pounds. Either way, confirm the currency and the VAT position on the checkout screen before you enter card details. If you are billed in dollars, your bank may add a foreign transaction fee and the cost in pounds will move with the exchange rate.
No UK certificates
We found no EICR, gas safety record (CP12) or other UK certificate templates. Electricians, gas engineers and heating firms would need a second app for certificates, which defeats the point of an all-in-one system.
One-way Xero sync and no Sage
Jobber's Xero integration sends clients, products, invoices, payments and refunds from Jobber to Xero. It does not pull changes back. If your bookkeeper edits an invoice or records a payment in Xero, Jobber will not know. We found no Sage or FreeAgent link and no Making Tax Digital features.
No UK office or UK phone number
Jobber's site shows only a North American toll-free number, and we found no UK office. Compare that with Tradify's London office and Powered Now's UK headquarters.
Prices have been rising
According to PricingSaaS, a third-party price tracker, Jobber raised its monthly list prices on 6 April 2026: Core from $29 to $49, Connect from $99 to $139 and Grow from $149 to $199. The annual discount was then cut to 25%, and the Marketing Suite add-on went from $79 to $99 a month in August 2026.
No purchase orders or stock control found
We did not find purchase orders or inventory on Jobber's pricing page. Builders and plumbers who buy lots of materials should look at Fergus or Tradify Plus instead.
Making Jobber work in the UK: during your 14-day trial, check three things. First, what currency and VAT you will be billed in. Second, whether one-way Xero sync suits your bookkeeper (ask them, it takes two minutes). Third, whether you need any regulated certificates. If the answer to the last one is yes, Jobber is the wrong tool, however good the rest of it is.
How much does Jobber cost per month?
These are the prices Jobber's UK pricing page showed when we checked. They were in US dollars.
| Plan | Users | No commitment | 1-year commitment | Billed annually |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | 1 | $49 | $39 | $29 |
| Connect | 1 / 5 / 10 / 15 | $139 / $199 / $299 / $399 | $119 / $169 / $259 / $339 | $99 / $149 / $229 / $299 |
| Grow | 1 / 5 / 10 / 15 | $199 / $299 / $399 / $499 | $169 / $259 / $349 / $429 | $149 / $229 / $299 / $399 |
| Plus | 5 / 10 / 15 | $499 / $599 / $699 | $439 / $499 / $599 | $399 / $449 / $529 |
Extra users cost $29 a month each. Prices "exclude sales tax where applicable", and VAT is not mentioned. Teams over 15 users go through Jobber's sales team. Capterra UK lists Jobber's starting price as "US$39.00", which matches the 1-year commitment price for Core.
The one cost Jobber does publish in pounds is UK card processing through Jobber Payments: 1.4% + 20p per transaction on all plans (from a help article dated 15 March 2024). On a £150 invoice that is £2.30. Our Jobber pricing guide works through team-size examples and the extra costs.
What does each Jobber plan include?
| Plan | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Core | Online booking and scheduling, quotes, invoicing with online payments, website builder, reporting, 100+ integrations |
| Connect | Automated reminders, automatic payment collection, job checklists, quote and invoice follow-ups, QuickBooks Online sync, time and expense tracking |
| Grow | Optional line items (let customers pick extras on a quote), automatic time tracking, job costing, two-way texting, workflow automations |
| Plus | Unlimited photo and video storage, crew scheduling, expense capture, custom reports, Pipeline, Marketing Suite, AI Receptionist, dedicated onboarding |
Worked example: a 3-person cleaning firm
A domestic cleaning business with three cleaners wants online booking, reminders and Xero sync, so it needs Connect. Jobber's tiers jump from 1 user to 5 users, so the firm would either pay for the 5-user tier ($199 a month with no commitment, or $149 billed annually) or take the 1-user tier and add two extra users at $29 each ($139 + $58 = $197 a month with no commitment). Ask Jobber which option applies to your account. For comparison, Tradify Pro for three people is £111 a month, and ServiceM8 Growing (150 jobs, unlimited users) is £59 a month. Jobber costs more, but neither of those rivals advertises a client hub that matches Jobber's for domestic customers.
Which Jobber plan do UK trades actually need? Core lacks QuickBooks and Xero sync and automated reminders, so most businesses with a bookkeeper will need Connect at least. That makes the realistic starting price $99 to $139 a month for one user, not $29.
Jobber features in detail
Client hub
Covered above: customers request work, approve quotes, see appointments and pay online. Jobber's client hub page does not say which plans include it, so confirm during your trial.
Online booking
Included from Core. Customers can book from your website or a link, which suits domestic cleaning, gardening and gutter cleaning work.
Automations
Connect adds automated reminders, quote and invoice follow-ups and automatic payment collection. Grow adds workflow automations and two-way texting. Plus adds an AI Receptionist that answers calls.
Job costing and time tracking
Time and expense tracking start on Connect. Automatic time tracking and job costing are on Grow, so you can see which jobs actually make money.
UK payments (1.4% + 20p)
Jobber Payments lets UK customers pay by card online. The fee is 1.4% + 20p per transaction on all plans. It is not available during the free trial.
One-way Xero sync
Available on Connect and Grow, supporting UK Xero accounts. Data flows from Jobber to Xero only. QuickBooks Online sync is included from Connect.
No UK certificates
Connect includes job checklists, which work for cleaning or landscaping sign-offs. They are not a replacement for regulated UK certificates such as EICRs or gas safety records.
Mobile apps
Jobber has iPhone and Android apps for field staff, with the web app for the office.
What do users say about Jobber?
These are third-party ratings, not our score. We do not give our own star rating.
| Platform | Score | Number of reviews |
|---|---|---|
| Capterra UK | 4.6 out of 5 | 1,487 |
| Trustpilot | 4.2 out of 5 | 231 |
| App Store (GB) | 4.8 out of 5 | 448 ratings |
| Google Play (GB) | 4.6 out of 5 | About 6,710 ratings (1 million+ downloads) |
| G2 | 4.6 out of 5 | 530 |
Jobber's ratings are strong and based on big samples. Bear in mind that most reviewers are North American, so they will not mention UK gaps such as certificates or pound pricing. Its Trustpilot score of 4.2 from 231 reviews sits below Tradify's 4.8 from 610.
Jobber pros and cons
Pros
- Client hub: customers request work, approve quotes and pay online
- Online booking on every plan
- Strong automations for reminders and follow-ups
- Highly rated apps with large review samples
- UK card payments at 1.4% + 20p
- Website builder included, with marketing tools on Plus
Cons
- UK pricing page showed US dollars when we checked
- No UK gas or electrical certificates found

- List prices rose in April 2026
- Accounting sync needs Connect, so the real entry price is higher than Core
Who is Jobber best for in the UK?
| Business | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic cleaning, 1 to 15 staff | Strong | Client hub, booking and recurring visits matter most. See our cleaning business software guide |
| Landscaping, gardening and lawn care | Strong | Seasonal recurring work and online quotes. See our landscaping software guide |
| Window cleaning, pressure washing, handyman | Good | No certificates needed, lots of repeat customers |
| Electricians and gas engineers | Weak | No UK certificates found |
| Plumbers and builders buying lots of materials | Weak | No purchase orders found |
| Teams over 15 people | Ask sales | Published tiers stop at 15 users |
By team size, Jobber's pricing works best for small teams. A sole operator on Connect with one user pays $139 a month on no commitment, while a 5-user team on Connect pays $199, so the cost per person falls as you fill a tier.
Sole traders: Core is tempting at $29 a month billed annually, but it has no accounting sync and no automated reminders. If you only need booking, quotes and invoices and you do your own books, Core can work. If you want your invoices to land in Xero or QuickBooks without retyping, a UK sole trader will usually get more for less from ServiceM8 (free up to 30 jobs a month, or £25 for 50) or Tradify (£34 to £37 a month with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks on every plan).
Growing domestic service firms: this is Jobber's sweet spot. Once you have 5 to 15 staff on recurring rounds, the client hub, automated reminders and two-way texting save hours of phone calls every week.
What are the best alternatives to Jobber for UK firms?

| ServiceM8 | Free (30 jobs), then £25 to £269 a month | You want pound pricing, a free plan and unlimited users |
| Powered Now | £28 a month for 1 user ex VAT (£32 per user on Professional) | You want UK forms and Making Tax Digital in one app |
| Fergus | From £39 a month (list price) | You need job costing and purchase orders (Pro plan) |

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Jobber in the UK?
Yes. Jobber has UK pages, supports Xero for UK businesses and offers UK card payments at 1.4% plus 20p per transaction. But its UK pricing page showed prices in US dollars when we checked on 12 October 2026, we found no UK office or UK phone number, and we found no UK gas or electrical certificates.
How much does Jobber cost per month?
Jobber's UK pricing page showed US dollars when we checked. Core for one user was $49 a month with no commitment, $39 on a one-year commitment or $29 billed annually. Connect starts at $139, Grow at $199 and Plus at $499 a month with no commitment. Prices exclude sales tax where applicable, and VAT is not mentioned.
Do I have to pay for Jobber?
Yes. Jobber has no free plan. There is a 14-day free trial with Grow features and no card needed. After that you pick a paid plan. Jobber Payments, its card processing service, is not available during the trial.
Is Jobber a CRM?
Partly. Jobber keeps a record of every client, their properties, quotes, jobs and invoices, and the top Plus plan adds a sales Pipeline. That covers what most small service firms need from a CRM (customer relationship management system). It is not a full sales CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce.
Does Jobber sync with Xero in the UK?
Yes, on the Connect and Grow plans according to Jobber's help centre, and it supports UK Xero accounts. The sync is one way, from Jobber to Xero, covering clients, products, invoices, payments and refunds. Changes you make in Xero do not flow back into Jobber.
Does Jobber have a UK phone number?
We did not find one. Jobber's website shows a North American toll-free number and no UK office. Support may still be available by chat or email, but if UK phone support during UK working hours matters to you, Tradify (London office) or Powered Now (UK headquarters) are safer choices.
Is Jobber good for UK cleaning businesses?
Yes, it is one of the stronger options. Cleaning firms do not need gas or electrical certificates, and they benefit most from Jobber's client hub, online booking, automated reminders and recurring visits. The main downsides are the US dollar pricing on the UK page and one-way Xero sync.
