Affiliate disclosure
Quick answer
Software for Tradespeople earns money through affiliate links. When you click a link marked (Ad) and then pay for that software, the software company pays us a commission. You pay the same price. Commission never affects which products we recommend, how we rank them or what we say about them.
This page explains exactly how this website makes money, so you can judge our recommendations with all the facts.
How affiliate links work here
Some buttons and links on this site take you to a software company through a tracked link. Every one of them is labelled "(Ad)", and every page that contains them carries a notice at the top before any links. If you start a trial and later pay for a subscription, the software company pays us a fee (some programmes only pay once you have stayed a customer for a set period). The price you pay is the same as going direct.
Which companies we currently have affiliate links for
At the time of writing we use, or have applied to use, affiliate programmes run by Tradify, ServiceM8 and Jobber. We may add others. Many of the products we review and recommend, including Powered Now, Fergus, Commusoft and Joblogic, do not pay us for website referrals.
What commission does not change
- Which products we include.
- The order of our rankings and "best for" picks.
- The pros, cons and verdicts we publish.
Our scoring method is public: see how we review software.
Reviews and ratings
We never publish fake reviews, invented testimonials or star ratings we have made up. Where we quote user ratings, we name the platform (for example Trustpilot or Capterra UK), the score, the number of reviews and the date we checked.
Sources and checks
Prices, features and ratings were checked on 12 October 2026 against these sources. Software prices change often, so confirm on the vendor's site before you buy.
